[Gvsig_english] Defining a mask for rasterization

Hi there, I have posted a similar question a few months ago but never got an
answer. Therefore, I´m going to post it again in the hope that someone could
answer me.

Is there a way to define a mask so that when i rasterize a layer, the result
only contains my area of interest?
