Dear users,

As you probably know we are now in the stabilization phase of gvSIG 2.0.
A few days ago it was released the alpha4 distribution which is
available for download from [1]. We encourage you once again to test
this new version and report all the bugs and feature requests you find
since in a couple of weeks we will stop taking into account new issues,
unless in case of critical bugs.

Issues (bugs or feature requests) should be reported directly into our
issue tracking system [2]. The only requirement is to get an user
account by clicking on “Register” (upper right corner).

Before opening a new issue is recommended to check if it is already
registered in the system doing a simple search (more info at [3]). In
case it is, please consider to add useful info to the existing issue.
Otherwise, please proceed to open a new one following the instructions
available at [4].

Those who are interested in participate in testing gvSIG in a more
active way can join a group of tester collaborators recently crated. To
coordinate the tasks we use a mailing list [5]. Feel free to subscribe
to it.

Thanks in advance for your contributions.

Best regards,
The gvSIG team.
