[Gvsig_english] spatial selection - and gvSIG 2.0

Dear all,

do you know whether there will be any improvements for "spatial selection"
(View > Selection > Spatial selection) in gvSIG 2.0? Are you using spatial
selection and what is your impression? Or is there an alternative solution
(maybe in sextante)? Selecting features with this tool takes ages in gvSIG
1.11. Unfortunately, there is no indication about the status of the
selection process and also no information available in the logfile. Any
comments would be appreciated very much.
