Hi Tope,
what do you mean by "view icon"? The View document type or what else?
If you want to add some layers in a View, firstly you should create a
View document. To create one, simply select the "View" document type
(it's selected by default) in the "Project manager" and then click on
the "New" button. A view document/window will appear. So you'll be able
to add a whatever layer you want by clicking on the "Add layer" button
in the toolbar or the "View > Add layer" menu option. Hope this helps.
