Hi Silvia,

Unfortunately it's not possible yet. IMHO this is a good feature request
in oder to improve the usability of the view navigation tools.

True, this is a bug.

It's possible for Unique symbols, but for more complex legend types (e.g.
categorical ones) you have to modify them one by one and, I'm agree with
you, it's very time consuming. In the past I wrote a Jython script in
order to add this capability to gvSIG 1.12 and, when I'll have a free
slot of time, I'll try to adapt it to gvSIG 2.1.

It's possible to show the geometry as WKT directly in the Info tool.
For instance, point geometries are shown as WKT by default.
Instead, in order to show the WKT of more complex geometries like lines
or polygons, you should right click on the GEOMETRY textbox in the Info
window and then choose the "Hide/show geometry as WKT" option.
Finally, area and length are not shown in the Info window... And it
sounds like a useful feature request.

It should work as usual... Start editing, right click on the layer in
the ToC and choose the "Editing properties" option, define the snap
tolerance, select the reference layers to use for snapping, activate the
reference to object in the Snapping options (active by default) and
finally choose the snapping types (i.e. final point, nearest point, etc.).
Then you can edit your layer with snapping.

> 6. are shortcuts available in gvSIG?

Shortcuts are more or less available and working in gvSIG.
For instance, you can see some of them in File and Show menus.

If you want, you can open some tickets (bugs or feature requests) in the
gvSIG desktop bug tracker [1] in order to share your useful suggestions
in a better place. Thank you very much! :)

ciao
