[Gvsig_english] : manipulating coordinates within a shape-file

Hi Mario,
I also thought about the field calculator, but unfortunately it' s a line layer (see attached .shp).

Maybe you can show me how to handle it within the scripting area.

Regards,
Christian

Hi Christian,

What type of layer is?

If it's a point layer you would be able to get the coordinates using the field calculator, and then dividing them by 1000. Finally you can create an event layer.

If it's a polygon or line layer it can be done by scripting. In that case, could you attach a small area of your layer?

Regards,
   Mario
