[Gvsig_english] Issues with .shp files

Hi

I am wanting to do the GIS course but every time I try to add a .shp file
it shuts down the whole program, no error message is provided, it just
closes.

I have attached all the log information you required. I'm not sure if you
need all of them but better safe than sorry.

I really want to do this course, but cannot do anything until I can get
this resolved. I have deleted the files and re-added them but still have
the same issue.
