[Gvsig_usuarios] gvSIG Icon

I suppose that the only thing you need is to edit the config.xml file, and use another image in .png (I haven't tryed). The only reason to not use a .png here, as in the rest of images was to be more friendly in Windows when we use JWS (Java Web Start).

With Java Web Start you have to use .gif files with the Icon you use. If not, the Desktop Icon that you use in the installation will be not transparent. But you can change this icon after, of course.

Anyway, we never use .ico files. They are not compatible with Linux, and this is a MUST in gvSIG.

        I would like to thank you for your precious information. The .gif image could not to be used as an icon (renaming) or a bmp file (renamed). So I would like to know if there is any way to use it this .gif image as an icon.

        Anyway, I am using my bmp file. I didn't found another alternative yet.

        The gvSIG icon you are searching for is defined insided the file "config.xml", near the last line:

        <icon src="images/logoGVA.gif" text="gvSIG"/>

        So, this image is under the images that the plugin "gvSIG" is loading. (gvSIG/extensiones/com.iver.cit.gvsig/images/).

        PS: (The file "config.xml" is inside the directory gvSIG/extensiones/com.iver.cit.gvsig/)
