[Gvsig_usuarios] shell without gui

hello everyone,
I'm new to this mailing-list, because I usually refers to the grass
one. I apologize for writing in english but I don't know spanish so
well.
In these days gvsig caught my attention, since its new integration
with sextante. Coming to my question: is gvsig+sextante usable from a
shell (I work under Debian) in a silent mode (without gui)? I would
need to use it as a cgi backend for some simple online geoprocessing
functions.
