yes, I've made it in past projects, but this time we have to mantain
our customer's original datatypes.

PS: I had problems with the gvsig MLs, I couldn't neither send nor
receive (I've answered you thorugh nabble2). Now I receive the digest
again. Sorry for this confusion....
