gvSIG log would be probably useful if you find errors.

However, it would be MORE useful if you could allow us accessing your 
ArcSDE server (connecting to the data using gvSIG), because we haven't 
had the chance to connect to 9.2 nor 9.3 servers till the moment.

Note also that our SDE client doesn't support versioned data, so if you 
use versioning you will only be able to access data with DEFAULT version.
