Do you know Exadel plugin for Eclipse, for many years (before the
acquisition by RedHat)
it had been Free but not Open Source, and there are a lot of other
software that is free but not open source.
It's strange that only this event create movement in international
list, I think that it's better to speak about gvSIG functionalities
than about a "simple" Eclipse plugin.
If it's so interesting we can choice to create a team that develop a
OpenSource version of the Plugin.
This is the only problem of this business model. To propose a
Commercial software in a OpenSource community, if the software is
simple (I don't think is like IBM RAD :) it's possible to create an
OpenSource alternatives without see the source code. The ideas aren't
covered by copyright.
