[Gvsig_english] gvSIG and Export to Oracle. Some questions....

Hello, Wolfgang.

Currently, as you know, when a vector layer is exported to an Oracle table, the only thing the user can decide regarding the metadata is whether or not to store the coordinate system. The extent of the new table is the full extent of the vector layer that is being exported (no matter how many of its geometries are being exported.)

One of the things we should improve about that process is that the user should not answer three different things in three different dialogs (choose connection, enter table name and whether or not to store the coordinate system). Maybe we should show one dialog with those things, and we could include the possibility of entering other metadata (extent and perhaps tolerance.)

Thanks for your comments.

Hello Juan,
I added the image file and it worked. Very good work! Metadata (extent,
coordinate system etc.) is generated automatically - great. The only question
that remains for me is the following: do I have the possibility to specify
another extent (a standard one) than the one of the view? Can I modify the
metadata-information? I would be grateful for a hint...

Best regards,
Wolfgang
