[Gvsig_english] ID and FID in attribute table

Hi list,
Currently, gvSIG does not allow the user to display / calculate the ID/FID
values of geometry features in the attribute table (well, displaying is
possible using the new function informacion geometrica" in gvSIG 1.9).
However, FID *is* present in every shapefile; the "only thing to do" would be
to allow the user to add these existing values to the table using the field
calculator. I would be most grateful, if the developers could add this
feature to gvSIG. Or is it already possible???

Another possibility would be to enable the user to add a new unique key to the
attribute table (just 1, 2 ,3 ...) or - as proposed by Benjamin - add some
sort of automatic completion for alphanumeric sequences (like excel has: you
type in "1" in the first cell and "2" in the second, selct both cells and
drag the mouse to the desired cell - the rest of the cells will get values 3,
4, 5, .... n. Sorry for this bad description.

Your comment is appreciated very much ...
Best,
Wolfgang
