Hi Luis,
I did a download of the MrSID file from their official site (https://zulu.ssc.nasa.gov/mrsid/mrsid.pl), in the position S_22_20 (2000).

gvSIG is using internal MrSID georeferencing info, and not .sdw one.
For sure your image has no internal georeferncing, and this must be the
reason why you're seing the images that way.
If it's not the case, it will help if we may have access to some of
this images
