Hello, Chris.
According to your log file, there seems to be a problem in certain rows and attributes of one of your files (I suspect the problem is in GEB_GRD_RG2_TEST3.DBF), as if it had inconsistent data, but I don't know if this is causing the distortion.
Can you perform some tests (for example, loading only some of the files) to find out if the problem is associated to a particular shapefile? For example, add all the files to your view except the file GEB_GRD_RG2_TEST3.SHP and see if the problem persists.
Cheers

Hi,
I attached the .log file of the gvsig. GVSIG (1.1) is running with Windows XP (with SP2) on a Pentium 4 (2.40 GHz, 512 RAM).
If you have any ideas to adjust this display error, don't hesitate to contact me.
Regards
Chris

Hello,
if it is a shapefile, you can also attach the shapefile itself (shp + dbf + shx) and gvSIG's LOG file:
C:\documents and settings\user\gvsig\gvsig.log
(generated after one of those distortions)

Hai Chris,
it would be helpful, if you could either attach a screenshot or describe your
problem a little bit more detailed.
Greetings,
Wolfgang
