[Gvsig_english] Digitize a Paper Map - Vector Objects

Hello Marco,
you can`t make it now with gvSIG but new digitizing methods are going to be implemented in next versions.
Did you take a look to geoprocessings functions: erase, clip, union,...?

First off all, thanks for this wonderful free software.
 
So my question:
I uses MapInfo mostly for digitizing scanned paper maps.
With MP you can set one Vektorobject (Polygon) as a Target Object and then you can cut an overlapping Vektorobject with this target Object.
The result is two Vectorobject without any overlappings.
This method is very useful for digitizing a paper map.
So in GVSig i am not sure how i can cut overlapping vector objects in the same layer against each other.
