[Gvsig_english] Scale information

I love your program and it is really helping me in my push to adopt open 
source and move away from ESRI at our consulting firm. The functionality 
that we MUST have that is a mapping standard here (and I thought in most 
places) is there is no ability that I can find to format scale text as 
"1= xx miles" or "1 inch = x feet". Will this be implemented any time soon?
