I'd like to share with other gvSIG users these gorgeous screenshots of
gvSIG Desktop and gvSIG Mobile running on a 4G Surf eeePC (ultramobile
PC 7'' 800x480 Screen, 900 MHz Intel Celeron Processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB
HD, Linux)

gvSIG Desktop works just fine, even though there are some issues with
the screen size -some menus overflowing the screen space- so you better
run it in full screen mode and will have to use ALT+LEFT CLICK sometimes
to move the window and scroll to the hidden buttons. These screenshots
are captured in full screen mode -no border, the menu remains hidden and
is accessible using the ALT key:

gvSIG Mobile is originally intended for mobile devices like PocketPC and
Smartphones, but thanks to the magic of Java you can also run the
application on a PC. gvSIG Mobile fits just perfectly for the eeePC,
since the window size is bigger than the one of a PocketPC. Furthermore,
gvSIG Mobile is GPS enabled.

Now with a GPS and gvSIG Mobile you can take full advantage of your
ultramobile PC ultramobility :P

Maybe others could post their experience with gvSIG Desktop and gvSIG
Mobile on ultramobile PCs.

Regards
Juangui
