[Gvsig_english] Problem; Build 1220

As an intro, I am not a GIS professional, but often need to build maps
for quick looks at areas and overlay feasibility type designs. gvSIIG is
great for this

The standard data I use is the Australian TOPO series of 1:250K shape
files downloaded from Geoscience Australia website

This data has the following datum and projection

Geographic Datum of Australia (GDA94)
Projection
Geographical (i.e. latitudes and longitudes)

With the production gvSIG I could use this for the default but now find
the View for default only has limited choices, all except WGS84 not
applicable to Aust.

When I use WGS 84 and transform the GDA94 files I get warnings and
errors and cannot work with the results as error message are constantly
popping up.
