[Gvsig_english] Use of world file.

Hi. I have downloaded one of them and it was GIF + MAP. If you can convert the .map file to the standard 6-parameter world file, then you should be able to add it to your gvSIG view. If the raster is not a tif, I would rename the world file to "filename.wld" to make sure that gvSIG finds it.

Well, if the raster map is in .tif format (and has that extension)
and the world file is present in the same directory, with the same
base name but extension .tfw, then you can just add the layer like
a regular raster layer. GvSIG should be able to associate the
dataset with the georeferencing information in the world file
and all should be OK.
