Hi Ben,

For the Api for filegeodatabase, at the esri conference, they promise  
that for arcmap 9,4 release.  But for the lyr or other... I whon't  
count on that.  But since at the beginning they promise for 9,3  
release... Also.. the api may be, like said before, win only api.

Wait and see.
