[Gvsig_english] Error rendering world datasets

Dear all,

I've been using the world border dataset by Bjorn Sandvik:

http://thematicmapping.org/downloads/world_borders.php

gvSIG is unable to plot this dataset correctly, messing up polygons
that are "sliced" by the projection. Please see the images in
attchment.

Has this error been solved with gvSIG 1.9? Is there any formal way of
reporting this error to the developing team?
