[Gvsig_english] gvSIG Mobile installation problem

Hello, Javier:

When you started the CAB installer, were you asked whether you wanted to install the app in the device or in a SD card? If so, what did you choose?

Does the file \gvSIGMobile\class\all.jar actually exist (with that exact path) after installation?

Perhaps your device is not allowing the CAB installer to add a record to the Windows registry. In that case, you need to install the application in the device (that is, in the file system root), so your file system should look like this:

\Windows\...
\My Documents
\Temp
\gvSIGMobile\..
\phoneme\...
(etc)

Is this what it looks like?

Regards,

Asunto: [Gvsig_english] gvSIG Mobile installation problem

Dear users:

I am trying to install gvSIG mobile 0.2 in Trimble Juno ST unit which
runs with windows mobile 5. According to the installation handbook and
previous queries in the user's mailing list, I have decided to install
the cab file called "gvSIGMobile...withPhoneMe.cab (I don´t have the
virtusal machine J9 installed).

The problem is that gvSIG mobile is not running. Two messages appear
on my pda screen:

"Install directory was NOT read in the Registry".

"Assumed file gvSIGMobile\class\all.jar does not exist. We cannot continue".

I would really appreciate anybody's help about this matter as well as
any tip of users who might run gvSIG mobile on Trimble Juno. Maybe I
got wrong in any step...

Thanks so much

Javier
