[Gvsig_english] Availability of English manual for gvSIG?

Hi,

I have noted some talk in the mail list about an English version of the 
manual. When is this expected to be released? Is anyone actually working 
on doing this?

I currently have some thoughts/comments regarding this issue and hope 
that they are not too repetitive if someone has already breached them.

First, although the online version is OK it is a bit laborous to 
navigate (not to mention that it is only available in Spanish). You 
can't really search for an item or gradually peruse through the site. I 
prefer the collated PDF version similar to what is available for Version 
1.1.

Second, has anyone considered using Google Translate to do the bulk of 
the translation of the web content? This would allow rapid transfer of 
Spanish text to English and only require someone to copy edit the text. 
Coupled with replacement of the images in English, I presume that you 
could generate the "What's New in 1.9" webpage as a PDF format in a 
couple of days! This document could then be used to complement the 
existing manual. Initially released as an unofficial translation to be 
followed up by the official version with logos, copyright notices, etc 
once you guys have had a chance of reviewing the document.
