Hi

For gvSIG 1.9 there's a guide to build it from the SVN[1] so you can
start building and running your gvSIG from sources.

There's also a developers guide[2] and some sample extensions at the SVN
sources you can look to see how to build an extension from scratch.

After that, I'm afraid the documentation available about gvSIG
components (andami, FMap, etc.) are only in Spanish[3]. You can ask here
about your plans and the team will try to point you in the right direction.
