Hi Johannes, list,

I read carefully your mail and I can do all the steps succesfully.
Perhaps in some point we don't do exactly the same.

You say that you are linking the table, but I think that you are doing
is a join ( It is not the same, the link is not permanent ).

If you make a legend in one shp and you export a selection of this shp,
depending of the type of legend you can't apply it in other shp that
don't have the same register. If it is possible you must create the
legend with the final shp. If both shp have the same register you can
apply the legend done with other shp if the name of field where you
apply the legend is the same.

The lenght of field name is 10 characters. Here you have two options,
rename the field before doing link or rename later.

I don't now what can happens about it, perhaps your name is longer than
ten char? I can remame all the fields.

Hope be helpful.
