[Gvsig_english] Feature request: show table properties

Dear list,
currently, it is only possible to check properties of the attribute 
table like field length and decimal count, when
the layer is in edit mode. Sometimes, it would be helpful, if this 
information would be available from the project manager > table > table 
properties.
And it would be great,if the user would be enabled to edit attribute 
tables without having to start the graphical edit mode.
