[Gvsig_english] Colour codes in attribute table

Hi all,
I have re-opened an old annotation layer in gvSIG 1.9 and the colour
codes in the 'color' column (specifying colour to be used for labelling)
seem to have been scrambled to values such as -52480, etc. The labelling
area of the layer properties doesn't let me select the 'color' field to
define the colour for each point - it doesn't recognise any field in the
layer's attribute table as suitable for that use (see attached screenshot).
It's a long time since I've had to work with changing colours for
labelling in this way, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Could anyone remind me what the format for colour codes is? Is it the
hexadecimal value such as CCFFCC, or is it a numerical value? Or is it
not picking up the color field for some other reason; a bug, perhaps?
Many thanks for any help,
Rory. :)
