[Gvsig_english] WMS layer in gvSIG mini for Android

Dear List,
I am new to gvSIG mini and the list so I apologize if I have missed
something obvious.

I am attempting to add a WMS layer to gvSIG mini. When I add the URL
(Add layer, From WMS server) for a Get capabilities request I get the
following error message 'Error while connecting to the server'.

I have tried a few different servers that I know do support WMS. Can
anyone provide any guidance?
Here is an example of a URL that I have tried

http://ipt-geo.gbif.org/wms
http://ipt-geo.gbif.org/wms?GetCapabilites

This URL returns a map in my web browser
http://ipt-geo.gbif.org/wms?request=GetMap&bbox=-180,-90,180,90&layers=gbif:resource47&width=320&height=160&bgcolor=0x7391AD&Format=image/jpeg

I am running gvSIG mini 1.0.0
Android 2.1 on HTC Eris
