I guess if Apple choose to move away from Java, Flash or other things now; they are choosing to move away from some users as well.

To date, if think gvSIG is the best option for mac users even if GRASS is best supported. If in the future Apple will close its MacOS, like they do with iOS, to third parties the only choice will be to use to use other OSes. In the meanwhile, I will keep pushing for official support of gvSIG to mac users.

gvSIG (OADE or 3D) works good enough in mac. I know of some windows users that move to mac and they are more than happy with the gvSIG performance.

You can use macboot, as well, and you mac hardware will be a linux machine.
