Yes, its really cool. And it would be great to have access to WPS and
WFS server to enable raster and vector data processing with Android
smart phones in the cloud. ;)

Using the home button to make gvSIG sleep is a nice feature, only the
back button exit function is IMHO a bit unexpected. :)

If have just tested gvSIG with my HTC Desire with Android 2.2.
Pressing the Home button sends gvSIG in the background without any CPU
consumption ... so maybe the GPS signal handling causes the battery
drainage?
