Dear Cain,
I threw a glance at that layer's properties: it is a 3d shapefile, and it is
known (...) that gvSIG has some problems dealing with this kind of data.
Therefore, I used ogr2ogr (command line tool) to convert it to 2D:
ogr2ogr -f "ESRI Shapefile" /tmp/TB_n.shp -nlt LINESTRING /tmp/TB.shp
Afterwards, splitting lines was possible - at least using the nice
OpenCAD-extension I was talking a bit earlier. It was also possible to edit
the attribute table. Therefore, I assume that converting those data into 2D
would solve your problem. However, I do not know if there is a way to
convert to 2D withi gvSIG. Maybe there's another gvSIG user (geek?) who has
also an answer for that question.
Best,
Wolfgang
