Hi list,

Kevin, I like most of the proposed improvements and I also go along with
Simon's suggestions.
I like to add some more:
Something what annoys me every single day is not being able to assign a
default outline thickness (or no outline at all!) when I quickly want to
symbolize classes: even if there are "only" 10-15 classes you want to have a
glance at you'll click your heart out. OK, you might say, just assign a
legend once, then reuse ist, but field names aren't always the same.

Also I would like to be able to select rotation angles and label positions
with both "label engines", attribute-based and advanced. Maybe some smart
programmer can even merge those engines into one?

One silly question at last:
When there is a button to go back to former extents of a view why is there
no button to go forward again?

Best,

Johannes
