[Gvsig_english] image catalogue... sigh?

yes, and: maybe it is not that hard. It is very easy to create an
index-shapefile which contains all 
necessary paths to the desired imagefiles using gdaltindex (you will know
it, I am sure ;)   )

e.g.
gdaltindex -write_absolute_path lubi_alt.shp test/*.img 

and maybe it's possible to "recycle" the hyperlink-dialogue in gvSIG (dream
on...)
