[Gvsig_english] Export map as image

Dear Trieste,

you could try to use print button. Within the printer's dialogue, activate
print-to-file.
I converted the resulting ps-file into pdf using the ps2pdf-command
(standard application under linux).
Interestingly, this pdf-file looked better than the one that was created
using the pdf/ps-export function of gvSIG (see also:
http://gvsig-munich.dyndns.org/wp/2011/02/strange-colours/). It may be a
good idea to set the quality of the output map to "high quality" before a
ps-file is created.

pdf-files can be nicely imported in GIMP. Here, you may do some clipping,
processing and conversion tasks (e.g. save as png, jpg, tiff, etc.). Of
course, it would be better, if there were some more export-options within
gvSIG (with good results)

Hope that helps,
Wolfgang
