If you were successfully able to 'import' your data into another fosGIS 
then just use that data. The fact, that the same file could not be 
converted by OADE gvSIG would be interested to the gvSIG and OE group 
and so a copy of the file that people could inspect would be of value to 
them.

It is not unusual that some files are not consistently converted. 
Success is usually dependent on the program used to create the file and 
how well they stick to the format specifications. For a file that is so 
easily recreated I would not spend too much time trying to fathom the 
issue -- Sextante can recreate a polygon grid file in seconds.

Of course, it is possible that the failure was due to OADE gvSIG not 
being correctly setup. Can you open other files, save and covert them?
