[Gvsig_english] OS OpenSpace gvsig mini maps on android not working

Folks, 

I am trying to use the OS OpenSpace WMS layer in gvsig mini maps for android but when I select the layer it just shows a black and white chequered map and does not appear to download load any map data even connected over a wifi network. Any suggestions as to what I  need to do?
