[Gvsig_english] Huge Tables in gvSIG

Hello, 
thanks for your advices. 
I did the cleaning, but now the encoding has changed. The shapes were in
utf8 encoded, so all the german umlaute were shown correctly. After cleaning
these letters are shown as special characters. Do you have an idea if the
encoding has changed? And which one is used now?
