Dear Bruno,

I tested what you said, but it works fine for me. My shp had three 
string fields and all of them were imported all rigth.
I use gvSIG 1.1.2 and postGIS 1.3.3-1  ( OS: linux). May be is a problem 
of versions.

Hi,

when I use GVSIG to export a layer of a shape file to postgis, the 
fields of type TEXT in the shapefile appears with the text "ERROR" on 
the table of postgis created for this shape.
