Dear Antonio,
I fully agree with your remarks. AI is Adobe Illustrator's native vectorial
file format, comparable to PS or EPS file formats. AI export extension is
used to export maps created with GvSig, similar to existing PDF and PS
export, so that they can be further enhanced with other tools.
