[Gvsig_english] "Boundary" tool in gvSIG

Dear list,
Whilst we're on the topic of digitization: Here's a request(?) for a tool that would come in useful whilst producing polygons from polylines that are
a) not closed BUT
b) provide a boundary, i.e. the endnodes of all segments snap together so that the effect of a closed polyline is given.
AutoCAD had such a tool - provided that the endnotes are snapped together it creates a "boundary" within the line segments, creating a closed polyline. In gvSIG this closed polyline would easily be turned into a polygon using either the "Create Polygons" tool in the Geoprocessing Toolbox or the equivalent tool in Sextante within the "Tools for Line Layers".
Currently, to my knowledge, no such tool exists, although it would be extremely useful and time-saving, as it would avoid the user having to digitize over each segment and snapping carefully in an attempt to create a closed polyline/-gon. This procedure can be very lengthy, especially when digitizing large features.
I would be grateful for your comments!!
All the best,
Anna
