[Gvsig_english] gvSIG 1.9 usb: Questions regarding labeling options

Hi list,

I thought that I would have found a nice workaround by splitting my
attributes for labeling into different shapefiles.
Streetnames and parcel numbers are labelled based on attributes and thus
keeping rotation, units are meters for original display. Fine.
Housenumbers are labelled in a user defined way which includes preferences
on positioning labels. I chose highest priority for middle left/middle right
and zero priority for all the other postions. Units are millimeters for
printing display.
Attached you see my results in a screenshot: view (upper left), map (lower
left), result (pdf)

I am running out of time by experimenting and creating results more or less
like the one shown.
Am I totally mistaken in what I am trying to do with gvSIG and always
creating user errors or is there somebody out there who managed to design a
nice layout of a cadastral map with readable labels in scale 1:5000 for
printing purposes?
I really do NOT want to go back to esri altohough I knoe most of the tweaks
for layouts in the Arcworld.

Still hoping,

Johannes
