[Gvsig_english] gv_sig and future on mac os

Wow, the power that Mac has over its owners... Microsoft do not supply a Microsoft JavaVM either. Nor do any of the Linux vendors supply a Linux JavaVM. Apple not supplying one is not the end of the world. Nor would it add any weight to reasons to use Apple - it seems likely that eventually nothing cross-platform will be officially allowed on Apple hardware; what then? Only use applications that people port to Apple and charge you for their effort?

BTW, gvSIG OA Digital Edition is tested for the Mac. Ironically that will get easier once it is a standard JVM rather than an Apple tweaked one...
