[Gvsig_english] The practical part starts at the "GIS for municipality management" course

Hi Matthew,

what issues are they having? We would need more information about that
to fix it.

In some specific computers in Windows 10 - 64 bits with a concrete
configuration there has been a problem when installing, that we haven't
been able to reproduce it (only a few users have reported it). The
solution is to download the portable version as Sergio told you.

The portable version has to be unzipped in a path without spaces, and it
doesn't have to be directly in C:\. For example, you can create a
"gvSIG-desktop" folder and move the "gvSIG-desktop-2.3.1....." folder of
the portable version to that folder.

Let us know if it works and which were the problems.

Best regards,
   Mario

This should be something that is focused on for ease of access by the creators so it's readily available and easy to use by more people. If someone is having issues simply downloading it, do you think they'll want to continue using it when then are more options out there for free use?
