[Gvsig_english] Translation of the gvSIGdocumentation to English

I have been helping translate gvSIG documents into English and find that the Google translator is very useful, although not perfect. I still have to refer to the original Spanish to make sure that the original sense of the text has been preserved.




As for the spelling, I have settled on using British English because that is what I am familiar with (here in South Africa). I notice, though, that the gvSIG GUI tends to use American spelling a lot, e.g. color, labeling, etc.

Rory,

We should use colour, behaviour, kilometre, centimetre, etc.

But as my spell checker (in Thunderbird) is telling me I am misspelling 
these words, and similar behaviour is common in standard setups for 
OpenOffice and Word, I notice there is a general acceptance to allow the 
American Version of words into common parlance.

My preference is clearly English-English, if you know what I mean.
